Photography captures a memory or an essence through imagery. This is the heart and soul of my work.

I am a mom of two beautiful young girls. I have amazing memories of my own wedding day, pregnancy, and births. So, I understand your hope to capture the essence of your children's lives as they grow....the special way your family shares a time together...the moments of two lives joining together.

I am a photographer. I LOVE capturing the light on a baby's cheek, a couple's radiance, a mother's love. Since studying digital photography at the Art Institute of Colorado, my whole worldview has changed. I literally and figuratively see everything through the lens of my camera. At every stoplight I see an image worth capturing. On a walk, I see a child's expression I must photograph at that very moment.

I am an artist, drawn also to landscape and the abstract in every day objects.

I am a designer. In addition to capturing images in photography, I love to help people design and hang photography in their home or place of business. It's a personal decision, but understanding who you are and the space you'd like to create seems to come naturally to me. It's a nice combination of my former career in social work and the artist I am today.
